The next generation Ranger TM adds versatility and more features to the pioneering original and its already outstanding performance. The next generation Ranger is now available in two models, the economical 300X and the powerful 500X. With two new CompactFlash slots (CF) and a Secure Data (SD) slot you increase data storage and add multiple accessories such as GPS, GPRS, RFID readers and other CF devices. Using the new SD slot lets you add data storage without sacrificing a CF slot.

The TDS Ranger provides you with everything you need from a handheld data collector and features an easy-to-read display for all kinds of lighting conditions, even direct sunlight. The waterproof Ranger combines military-grade durability with a Windows Mobile TM software for Pocket PCs and up to 512 MB of Flash ® memory. The Ranger can quickly process even the most graphic-intensive applications and delivers that performance in the most challenging work environments. It handles extreme heat, up to 60° and extreme cold, down to -30°.

Not just a pretty face, the TDS Ranger meets or exceeds the 810F military and IP67 standards for drops, vibration, altitude, dust, corrosion and water immersion. The construction makes it light weight, yet rugged and the exterior design provides a great grip in any weather. Ergonomic navigation, alpha and numeric keypads make it easy to operate even when wearing gloves. This combined with up to 30 hours of continuous operation makes the Ranger the ultimate choice for tough outdoors conditions.

The Ranger is an environmentally sealed PDA (IP67) with a base unit having a Xscale processor, 64Mb or 128Mb RAM,
Color TFT screen, Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 in flash memory, COM1, RS232 serial port,
USB, two user accessible Cf Card slots and a SD slot, speaker/microphone.
Each unit is supplied with a high capacity Rechargeable PowerBoot Module, Standard Cf Cap, two stylus pens,
a package of 10 screen protecors, Handstrap, AC charger, USB data cable, Microsoft Windows CE Services CD
and an user leaflet.
